On why you have to look at the world as it is, in order to see it as it could be - ...
His globe: universal education
by Pressureworks, published 9, August 2005
Why do you think your goal is important?
Because education in the first, second and third world is vital for the survival of the human race.

Where did you find the inspiration for your design?
It came from the Allen Scale map, which is the true scale map of  the world. On this scale the African continent dwarfs a smaller Europe.
'On the Allen Scale map, the African continent dwarfs a smaller Europe'
Colonial Europe published a distorted view of Europe, over-emphasising its scale in relation to smaller African and Asian continents. Not surprisingly, the last great colonial power, America, is actually smaller using the Allen Scale.
How important is politics in art?
Politics affects every aspect of the human condition and, as such, is inescapable, even in the subconscious of every artist.
What message have you for any aspiring young artists or photographers about being 'political' and addressing social/economic issues?
Throughout history art has imitated and reflected the world around us, acting as a social and political barometer that has affected change and predicted evolution and revolution.
