Thousands count in Trafalgar Square
More than 25,000 people gathered in Trafalgar Square on Saturday 4 November to call for action on climate change, days before world leaders meet in Nairobi to discus how to tackle climate change. Were you there?
The day started off with campaigners arriving in all kinds of low carbon ways, including walking, cycling and even taking biofuel green taxis!
Christian Aid organised a joint service with Tearfund and BMS World Mission at St Martin in the fields. The church was completely full with standing room only and the upper gallery completely packed with campaigners.
By now, the square was filled with people, holding banners and wearing quirky costumes. We spotted a mermaid, weather signs and lots more!
Various performers and speakers took to the stage to demand action from the UK government at climate talks in Nairobi, Kenya. They included: KT Tunstall, Razorlight, Miranda Richardson and Right Reverend James Jones, Bishop of Liverpool.
KT Tunstall said, 'Today is about raising awareness that we need to change our behaviour.'

'I feel very passionate about what we're standing up for today..' Emily, Hertfordshire
Pressureworks caught up with some of the campaigners at the event and asked why they had come along. Brad from Wantage in Oxfordshire said, 'We're here to get inspired and create a fun atmosphere, get more people on board.'
Emily from Hertfordshire, said, 'I feel very passionate about what we're standing up for today...let's hope we can make a difference in Nairobi.'
Jo said, 'The Western world has this culture of 'it's not our problem'...unless we do something today we won't have a future.'
The United Nations climate change conference is taking place from 6 - 17 November in Nairobi, Kenya. We will let you know what happens and Christian Aid's verdict on these important talks.
