Barclays, Morrisons and International Power
by Pressureworks, published 5 July, 2007
Christian Aid is calling on the UK government and companies to to do more to cut their carbon emissions. We look into why we are campaigning to Barclays, Morrisons and International Power and why we are asking them to publish a full account of their carbon footprint and commit to reduce their carbon emissions by 5%.

Our recent report, Coming Clean: revealing the UK's true carbon footprint, shows that the UK contributes 2% to global emissions but if you take into account the activities of UK companies, this figure rises to 12-15% of global carbon emissions.
