Inspire young people to change the world
Marijane Santos Naascimento & Alana de Carvalho are popular educators with GAPA.
Are you serious about changing the world? Start here. With a Christian Aid GAP year you give 10 months to get young people and students in the UK excited about development and campaigning. more >>
Ever fancied being a journalist? Get your foot in the media door by being a media volunteer. Christian Aid already has a high profile in national and church press. We'd love it to be higher in local media so development issues can be brought to the widest audience
By volunteering for office work with Christian Aid you can help save lives as well as furthering your own career prospects. Read on to learn how your contribution will benefit you and Christian Aid.
How did you first find out about development and campaigning? Lots of people first encountered these issues at school. As a CAT you could introduce a new generation of young people to the issues that you are passionate about!
Have you done a bit of campaigning but want more of a dialogue with your MP? You should become a local lobbyist. Campaigns can have so much impact when every MP in the country is contacted about the same issue at the same time.
