Northern Ireland update
Thank you to everyone who contacted Northern Ireland Environment Minister Arlene Foster asking her to make the Climate Change Bill more ambitious. Read an update on what's happening next in the climate change coalition in Northern Ireland.
Our joint action with Friends of the Earth asked Arlene Foster to lead the Executive in calling for the UK bill to be strengthened. Your messages were copied to Ministers of the Assembly's Executive and Members of the Environment Committee asking them to take action too.
Christian Aid is a member of the climate change coalition in Northern Ireland. We will continue to put pressure on the Northern Ireland Assembly to adopt specific Greenhouse Gas reduction targets for Northern Ireland of at least 80%.
